Things to put on your quartz countertop for better aesthetics

If a kitchen design was a show, the countertop would be the star of this show; countertops are the major feature of the kitchen, they are the first thing the eyes go to when first entering any kitchen. This is why it is super important to invest in a good quality quartz countertop for durability, of course since it is expected to take most of the heavy work in the kitchen, and also for better aesthetics for you entire kitchen.

In this post, we will assume that you already have chosen the color and design of your quartz countertop and even had it installed in your kitchen. You are finally done with the long exhausting process of remodeling and it is time for you to enjoy the good look and pleasant atmosphere of your newly redesigned kitchen. Yet, something still feels not right as if something is missing and you are not able to identify it.

Well, most probably what is messing is the proper decoration to use on your kitchen counter. Granted that many people will not pay attention to such a small detail after going through the daunting process of remodeling with all its little annoying details, but it really is very important to make your kitchen look better and to make you feel better about it. You may not get the idea behind decorating your kitchen countertop if you believe that the most important thing for it to be both clean of any stains and clear of any mess. However, an empty countertop in many cases will not look that good no matter how beautiful the stone originally is. It is also quite simple to put a few things on the countertop that are actually used in everyday life, as well as being decorative, to try and make it look better, so here are some things to try:

A coffee station

Everyone has their coffeemaker on the kitchen countertop by default, so you may as well create a coffee station-like area right by the coffeemaker. Place the things you usually need to make your morning coffee like a holder of mugs, a little cute container for sugar and another one for milk.

Oils and spices rack

Arranging bottles of oil, vinegar, soy sauce, nearby along with your spices on a rack on the kitchen countertop will give your kitchen a nice homey look. Also, having all your tools and spices at hand will encourage you to cook family favorites as well as trying new recipes more often.

A holder for your iPad

This is a big and great change from having a stack of cookbooks, a phone, a notepad, and ton of other stuff that would make you suffer either from an overcrowded kitchen or form running back and forth between the kitchen and the place where you keep each of these items. All this is now a one, slim, light device. Yet, most are still faced with the dilemma of where to keep a tablet standing on the kitchen counter; it is easy, get an elegant stand for it the goes with the color tone of your kitchen design and makes your life much easier.
